In partnership with Schoolhouse Supplies, EFNW companies raise funds to purchase new backpacks and school supplies for selected schools. Companies can also host a school supply drive. Collectively, these initiatives raised more than $30,000 in funds and supplies and helped more than 1,500 local children have the tools they need to start a successful school year.
45 volunteers from six member companies hit the trails with the National Forest Foundation's Friends of the Forest Day at Multnomah Falls. Volunteers pictured far left from EFNW member company HemCon, cleared the trail of winter debris and prepared it for the summer hiking season.

Member company CorSoure Technologies and 5 other EFNW member companies sent 63 volunteers for to Rebuilding Together's Big Event. Each company worked on a house that had fallen into disrepair due to age, health or economic circumstances, enabling the homeowners to remain in their homes safely.

Employees from Barco Medical Imaging collected 50 each of 15 different items from toothbrushes and shampoo to new socks and underwear - enough to create 50 Basic Needs Kits to benefit the teens served through Outside In.
They used a race cars to track the donations, and when they reached their goal, they packed the bags and brought them to Outside In. It was fun for employees and it filled a great need in our community. 9 EFNW companies participated, contributing a total of $7345 worth of cash and goods.
HemCon Medical Technologies offers employees a Dollars for Doers program, where non-profit receive cash payment for volunteer hours employees put in.
Ethics Point has discontinued trade show give-aways and instead makes non- profit contributions when guests stop by their booth.
